Residential Structural Engineering

At Kramer and Brown we have been designing custom homes since the inception of the Firm in 1974. With 60+ years of combined design experience there are very few design hurdles that we have not mastered on previous projects. We design and detail the most efficient structures possible, simplifying the building process, ultimately saving the client both time and money. Using Revit, a 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) platform, as our standard on residential projects we provide plans that are clear to the contractor and eliminate construction conflicts prior to breaking ground. We are well versed in current building products including the ZIP system, SIP design, insulated concrete forms (ICF) and more. Sustainable/green building design is important to us and we work closely with architects and contractors to provide the most energy efficient and sustainable buildings possible.
